Authentic Mexican food with a great view for watching the waves at Zicatela. Pretty typical menu to any other Oaxacan place around Puerto. All the food tasted really good!

Lovely view great place to eat no complaints...

Our favourite restaurant in whole Puerto Escondido! Within 6 days we came for 3 amazing dinners. The personnel is friendly, the food is good, the drinks are cheap (e.f. the agua fresca had little to no added sugar!and the view is amazing. A perfect place for a nice dinner with a great sunset. You can even pay by card. What more could you ask? A complete recommendation, which is especially important with a lot of scam and sketchy business in this region!

Super nice place : we share a mixed plate, which had more than enough food for two, with an amazing view on the waves and the sunset; we got homemade nachos to start, and homemade tortillas with our food. The prices are more than reasonable (310 pesos the plate for 2, 80 pesos for a cocktail), especially compared to the restaurants down at the beach, and the staff here is super friendly !

Food was pretty good, the only downside is that the bacon was slightly burnt and the eggs were a little bland. However the stafg was super polite and the view was beautiful.

Not spectacular food, but definitely a spectacular view. Can get crowded at times. Get there by 11 for a front row view seat. Great selection of juices.

Nice flavors, great value, and a lovely view. Bistec was tasty and my melon drink was refreshing. It was filled with locals which means better food with actual flavor and less expensive. 👍

Not sure what happened here but I ordered Enchiladas Verdes and it taste like water. Really disappointed and not coming back again. Use to be my favorite place but over the ls 6 months they food get down on quality.

Good food, great view

Had breakfast and dinner here several times as it was a 2 minute walk from my Spanish school. Awesome place to eat and look at the ocean or watch the sunset. Good service and good food. Lots of choices of different juices containing fruit and vegetables. Reasonable prices

Plentiful dishes with great views. Bit of a mix up with ordering so ended up with double orders that I had to keep.Free coffee refills.7/10 would recommend.

More Mexican food than you could ever be dreaming of at a local price!

The first sign that this place would be something special: the cab driver who took us here immediately told us that wed made an excellent choice once we told him where to take us. Located on the main road overlooking Zicatela beach, Brisas Del Mar offers quality breakfast at a very affordable price. I scarfed down my Machaca a la Mexicana, complemented perfectly with black beans, queso ranchero and two huge hand-made tortillas while my fiancée enjoyed her vegetarian omelette. We accompanied our meal with green smoothies and finished off our meal with a delicious café de olla. While we ate, a musical group consisting of a father and his two sons serenaded us with unexpectedly good music. We were so happy with our meal that were coming back again tomorrow! Do yourself a favor and give this unassuming place a shot!

The view is amaizing!But the view and the cervezas are perfect excuse to visit this restaurant.We went late in the afternoon around 5pm and I was not please with the food. Better options around town.Always vegan options in Mexico with nice corn tortilla and veggies!4 out of 5

Enjoyed this place so much that I went twice! Be sure to order the fresh juices. I had the "Green Power" and it was the perfect start to my meal. The first time that I went I had a traditional "American" breakfast but decided to get something more Mexican on the second visit... chilaquiles verdes con pollo y crema. As expected, it was absolutely delicious. If you can, try to get a seat overlooking the water for an awesome start to your day.

The food is good, the view is great. Sit by the open window, might meet a few fly friends, but its definitely the way to catch the waves.The juice was really good, and very large for the price. Staff was polite, and the price was more than reasonable.

I am sorry that I did not discover this place earlier. It was recommended to us and we went just before noon a few days before I was leaving. The place was buzzing with locals and tourists. The views are spectacular. Good menu with lots of choices, some off the menus items as well, if you know what to ask for. Reasonable prices because it is away from the main tourist strip and on the highway. Tasty food and pleasant staff.

We discovered Las Brisas Del Mar when we accidentally signaled a premature stop on the collectivo, but it was just a couple blocks from our hotel. By far one of the best places to watch the sunset in all of Puerto, the bar overlooking the ocean also delivers the promised relief (las brisas!to sun-weary explorers. The food was absolutely incredible! We split guacamole and a plate of camarones al ajillo, and returned the next night to try the pescado al ajo and the burrito vegetariano. I was prepared to regret not-ordering fish but these folks work magic with mushrooms- so much umami! We were also amazed by the low prices, but I really cant recommend this place enough for atmosphere and taste. ❤️ Put it on your sunset-watching agenda when youre in Puerto Escondido!

This is a great off the track kinda place to get some breakfast. I really enjoy finding a more local bite to eat, however this place serves a similar quality to beach front resort style restaurants - only for half the price. The panoramic view is incredible so just a walk up for that enjoyed over a smoothie is perfect! Generally the food plates appear to be fairly large sizes also.
